Canada issues two types of Canadian travel documents: Eligibility for either document is determined only after all required information has been submitted and reviewed. Follow these five steps to complete the process: - Obtain an application form.
- Read the instructions carefully and complete all sections of the application form and BOTH labels (form PPTC 220).
- Obtain two identical passport photos.
- Have your guarantor complete and sign the "Declaration of Guarantor" section of your application form and sign at least one of your photos.
- Submit your application form.
Each application is evaluated individually. Additional information and documentation may be requested of you.
