The Virtual Museum of New France is charged with creating activities and projects whose main theme is New France. This modern museum is taking the information highway to become the focus of research, education, information and enjoyment.
Highlighting the historical, social and cultural heritage of the first two centuries of the history of Canada will allow its visitors to better understand the origins and evolution of French-speaking North America.
The Virtual Museum sets up the mechanisms to support the synergy that unites its partners, collaborators and visitors. It channels resources leading to the development of knowledge on New France and is already stimulating multidisciplinary research projects.
