Jacques Cartier's journal.
... a network of partners

The Virtual Museum of New France depends on the support of a network of partners from both private and public sectors as well as special collaborators. A committee has been set up charged with coordinating and harmonizing the activities undertaken by each one of them as part of building a Virtual Museum and creating independent projects.

These partners are recruited from centres of learning, archives, museums and universities. They ensure the safekeeping of several elements in the history of New France by means of the Virtual Museum which acts as assembler, animator and coordinator.

The Virtual Museum draws on the richest collections, whether in Québec, Acadie or Louisiana. In addition it has access to significant resources from other regions of Canada, as well as France, Great Britain and the United States.

The contribution of these partners extends to conceiving activities and products offered on the Virtual Museum of New France site. They take part in the formulation of contents, themes and the proposed activities on the Internet site.
