... a network of visitors

Conscious of the role of history in the understanding of the present, the Visual Museum of New France will promote exchanges by opening an agora. This forum will circulate the data disseminated today throughout the world, which, because of the information highway, can finally be brought together. The convergence of resources available today in this Virtual Museum will ensure its continued enrichment.

The Virtual Museum of New France wishes to maintain an interactive relationship with its visitors who will be able to transmit and exchange information, thus contributing to the expansion and enrichment of the contents. To stimulate public interest in the knowledge of the history of New France, the Museum will ensure that the notion of entertainment underlies several of its activities.

For the specialized public, made up of educational institutions, libraries, museums and others, the Virtual Museum of New France will make available information, documents and products of a pedagogical, technical or scientific character.

The historical elements accessible on the site of the Virtual Museum of New France will be introduced progressively on a regular basis. They will be formulated by its partners' resources: people, institutions and agencies with knowledge of New France at their disposal.
