At the 2006 CANDO conference (Oct 2-5) a new commercial Insurance program launched providing an advantageous and innovative opportunity to all Aboriginal business owners who are CANDO members.
Designed over the past several months and in partnership with the world’s leading Insurance Brokerage Aon, and within the Aboriginal Service Group, Aboriginal business owners will now have an opportunity to purchase discounted comprehensive Insurance coverage’s through a custom tailored Aboriginal CANDO Affinity program. In addition, a dedicated toll free 1-800 line and bilingual contact(s) have been created to both service all future policy holders within the program, and accommodate a straightforward process to purchase coverage.
According to the Aon Aboriginal Service Group’s National Director, Randy Sherwin, “the benefits of the program from my perspective will provide Aboriginal business with comprehensive and competitive coverage. These business owners will now have access to specialty coverages such as business interruption, selling price on stock, computer and laptop coverage, employee benefits, business owner disability insurance and coverage limit options all at a discounted cost and easy to follow application process.
