A Review Tribunal may hear any of the following types of appeals:
Canada Pension Plan (CPP)
A Review Tribunal appeal may involve any of these CPP benefits:
- Disability benefits,
- Benefits for children of disabled contributors,
- Retirement pensions and pension sharing,
- Death Benefit, Survivor's Benefit, and Orphan's Benefit, and
- Credit Splitting

Old Age Security (OAS)
A Review Tribunal appeal may involve a decision concerning these
Old Age Security benefits:

- Guaranteed Income Supplement,
- Allowance (Spouse or Common-Law Partner), and

If the reasons for the denial of a Guaranteed Income Supplement,

that body.

A Review Tribunal appeal may involve a Social Security Agreement
which Canada has with another country and which may help a person
qualify for a CPP or OAS benefit.
For more information about Social Security Agreements see Social
Security Agreements.
Charter of Rights and Freedoms
A Review Tribunal appeal may involve a claim that must be considered
under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
