Local small businesses
|

Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDC) CFDCs have a mandate to contribute to the economic
development of their communities through mobilization, co-operation and the
creation of sustainable jobs and enterprises. Their operations are funded by the
Gouvernment of Canada. Services offered to the enterprises include:
- Access to funding
- Technical assistance
- Support for local entrepreneurship, including women
and young entrepreneurs.

Rural Enterprise Provides complementary assistance to support
projects in such targeted areas of activity as innovation, marketing and the
development of products and services emanating from the region. The program is
available through the Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs) in the
area.
