Test your fire safety knowledge with these fun activities:
Activity One: Smoke Alarm
Does
your family’s smoke alarm work?
Ask a grown-up to test the smoke alarm by pressing the button.
If you hear the sound of the smoke alarm, then you know that
it is working! Remember: Test the smoke alarm every month.
Activity Two : Escape Plan
Does
your family have an escape plan?
Draw a picture of the route to take from each room in your
house to the meeting place outside. Explain your picture
to your family and practice the escape plan.
IDEA: Practice your family’s escape plan twice a year. That’s
easy to remember!
