Community Development Fund

The Community Development Fund (CDF) gives Yukon community, industry & professional associations, non-profit & charitable organizations and municipal & First Nations governments money for projects and events that:

  • create jobs
  • generate spending on Yukon goods and services
  • support community well being
  • have measurable social, cultural and economic benefits for Yukon residents and communities

The primary goal of the CDF is funding projects and events that provide long-term benefit and value to Yukon communities.

CDF Funding Tiers TIER I TIER II TIER III
Funding Level $20,000 or less $20,001 to $75,000 $75,001 or more
Deadline(s) January 15, May 15, July 15, October 15 May 15, September 15 January 15

Applications are to be submitted to the CDF office by 5:00 P.M. on the deadline date. Deadlines falling on a weekend or holiday are marked back to the previous business day at 5:00 P.M. Please do not wait to the last minute to submit applications.

Eligible applicants:

  • registered not-for-profit societies
  • community associations
  • charitable organizations
  • professional/industry/business associations
    (i.e. - Chamber of Commerce, Medical/Dental Association)
  • local governing bodies
  • municipal governments
  • First Nation governments

Application Form
