Legislation & Policy
The principle objectives are:
- to co-ordinate the development of the legislative program in cooperation with the
appropriate Divisions and operating branches within the Department;
- to co-ordinate the development of the regulatory program in cooperation with the
appropriate Divisions and operating branches within the Department and to process all
amendments or new regulations through the required steps;
- to address matters relating to the International Labour Organization through appropriate
authorities of the Federal Government.
