Spraying/Aerial Guidance Services Invitation to Tender

INVITATION
TO TENDER

TO
Provide two (2) aerial spray aircraft (Air Tractor
AT-602 or equivalent), one (1) aerial guidance aircraft (Cessna 337
or equivalent), and professional Aerial Spraying/Guidance Services,
for the control of budworm, during the tentative five (5) periods
of:
1.
May 1 through
July 31, 2006

2.
May 1 through
July 31, 2007
.
3.
May 1 through
July 31, 2008
.
4.
May 1 through
July 31, 2009
.
5.
May 1 through
July 31, 2010
.
Flat Hourly rates are also requested for other
flying activities that may occur during the fiscal year (April 1 to
March 31, annually) i.e. technology trials.
Pilot and GPS/GIS personnel must be qualified; and
the aerial spray and guidance aircraft must be fully operational and
maintained by the Bidder; and be exclusively available to Manitoba
Conservation during the term of the contract in accordance with the
terms and conditions outlined in the tender document.
To
be eligible to bid:
Tenders for this work will be accepted only from
Transport
Canada
approved Aerial Spray Operators who are in possession of a current
and valid Air Carrier Licence and associated Operating Certificate,
Airworthiness Certificate. Pilots
must hold a valid Aerial Pesticide Applicators License.
Tenders must be submitted in the name of the
Operator listed on the Operating Certificate.
Pilots must have flown a minimum of 1000 hours of aerial
spraying.
