Contemporary Accounts
These three accounts are separately listed here as being something apart from memoirs of the Campaign. Although all were personally involved, they went beyond what they saw personally to report on the Campaign as a whole. The reader must bear in mind the personal biases of these reporters of events. Boulton includes a most valuable appendix of units and individuals involved, which does not appear in the reprint of his work.
