A judicial recount of November 6 Municipal Election results for Councillor in Summerside Ward 5 - Hillcrest-Platte River was conducted on November 22. The recount resulted in no changes to the results, which are now official.

Elections P.E.I. June 2006 Proposed Electoral Boundaries Report

On 4 May 2006 the Special Committee on Prince Edward Island's Electoral Boundaries Report [PDF, 56KB] directed Elections P.E.I. to commence with redrafting immediately and to produce maps and legal descriptions delineating the area and boundaries of each of the province's proposed 27 electoral districts. The Elections P.E.I. Report of the Descriptions and Maps for the proposed 27 electoral districts for Prince Edward Island [PDF, 8.4MB] was filed as directed by the Special Committee on 9 June 2006.
