Nova Scotia Police Commission

The primary role of the Nova Scotia Police Commission is to investigate and conduct hearings into citizens' complaints alleging misconduct on the part of municipal police officers. The Commission's Police Review Board is also empowered to hear and determine appeals against disciplinary penalties or dismissals imposed or ordered by Chiefs of Police and Boards of Police Commissioners.
