In its new corporate plan entitled
From cinemas to cell phones - Telefilm Canada
responds to the multiplatform challenge, the Corporation
offers the Canadian industry and its partners
a solid vision of the future that reiterates the
vital importance of Canadian content and the need
to take full advantage of digital platforms in
order to reach wider audiences.
Telefilm focuses on three areas
of activity to help the industry prepare for the
transition to a fully digital universe: increasing
audiences, enhancing industry potential, and training
and professional development.
The corporate plan sets forth Telefilm
Canada's objectives and strategies for feature
films and new media and for industry development
in all Canadian regions and on the international
stage.
Telefilm Canada's corporate culture
is founded on accountability and an excellent
client service. Telefilm strives to be an exemplary
public agency, assuring performance-based management
and the efficient administration of funding programs,
including those covered by a three year service
agreement with the Canadian Television Fund.
