Recreational Access to Agricultural Public Land

Recent changes to the provincial legislation on public land proclaimed on July 10, 2003, are important to both leaseholders and recreationists. Grazing leases and farm development leases will now benefit from a clear process for access that respects:

  • the leaseholders who are stewards of these sites,
and the public who wish to enjoy the many natural features of the land.
