Alberta's Commitment

Alberta's Commitment to Sustainable Resource and Environmental Management, released on March 28, 1999, is the cornerstone of the Alberta government's management approach to the environment. It describes a sustainable approach to environmental and natural resource management that seeks to ensure environmental health and economic prosperity continue to coexist.
