The site contains two consultation papers on Internet issues, which were released in June 2001: Consultation Paper on Digital Copyright Issues and Consultation Paper on the Application of the Copyright Act's Compulsory Retransmission Licence to the Internet. Interested parties were invited to provide their written comments on the issues raised. More than 700 responses from the public were received and are posted on the site. Visitors can also read the publication Supporting Culture and Innovation: Report on the Provisions and Operation of the Copyright Act, which was released in October 2002.

Intellectual Property Policy

The Intellectual Property Policy website contains information on what's new; current issues on copyright, trademarks, and patents; press releases; laws and regulations; international treaties; and links of interest.
