In order to be successful in your work, you need to understand the changes in the workplace and adapt to them. It is up to you to adapt, but others can help you become more knowledgeable about the new work realities.

Workplace Organizations
Women in Trades and Technology - National Network--This is an education and advocacy organization dedicated to promoting and assisting in the recruitment, training and retention of women in trades, technology, operations and blue collar work across Canada.

Alternative Work Arrangements
Saskatchewan -New Work Arrangements--A Saskatchewan site that looks at the changing world of work and what workers can expect in the new workplace.

Resources for Researchers and Professionals
Standards Council of Canada--The Council promotes efficient and effective standardization for Canadians.
Statistics Canada--Statistics Canada is the country's national statistics agency with programs organized into three broad subject areas: demographic and social, socio-economical, and economic.
Island Francophone Knowledge Resource Development Committee--This committee is dedicated to finding ways of bringing Francophone and Acadian minority communities and the federal and provincial governments together.
