Contributing to RésEau
RésEau: Building Canadian Water Connections is a catalytic demonstration initiative to facilitate the sharing, discovery, access and use of Canadian water information.

Join a growing network of partners involved in a dynamic approach in providing water information - including provinces, community groups and stewardship organizations. We encourage you to get involved in RésEau by contributing information, and by building your own applications from it.

Here's how you can get involved:

  1. Make your own data and information accessible .
  2. Develop tools that allow water information communities to effectively share their information.
    • Visit the Watersheds InfoExchange - an exemplary model for information coordination in the watershed stewardship community.
  3. Create applications that serve user needs and decision-making requirements .
  4. Participate in ongoing forums and communities of practice to develop and support improved information sharing.
  5. Build awareness and help promote the benefits of dynamic and distributed approaches to environmental information sharing.
