Universal Child Care Benefit
Canada’s Universal Child Care Plan provides parents with the Universal Child Care Benefit, which is a $100 monthly payment made on the 20th of each month for each child less than six years of age.

Application Information
- Families already receiving the Canada Child Tax Benefit will automatically receive the Universal Child Care Benefit.
- Families that do not receive the Canada Child Tax Benefit will be able to apply for the Universal Child Care Benefit by submitting a completed Canada Child Tax Benefit application form to the Canada Revenue Agency.
