Contractor's Returns

Where can I get information on revenue tax (sales) issues for contractors?

Once a contract is awarded, there are two forms that a contractor must complete and return:

  • Contractor's Supplementary Return, and
  • Report on Contracts and Subcontracts

The Contracts Supplementary Return is completed by contractors who are reporting and remitting revenue tax (PST) on all taxable goods, on which PEI tax has not been paid for a specific reporting period of a project.

The Report on Contracts and Subonctracts form outlines the nature and dollar value of subonctracts for a specific project issued by a General Contractor. This information is then used to determine the General Contractor's portion of the contract.
