764 Communication Squadron (764 Comm Sqn) is the focal point for national and international communications systems, and provides 24/7 strategic messaging, video conferencing, and backup to the National Defence Command Centre (NDCC) switchboard services in support of National Defence Headquarters (NDHQ) command and control operations. Canadian Forces Command System Support's (CFCS Sp) mission is to provide an integrated command, control and intelligence environment enabling the Chief of the Defence Staff to command the Canadian Forces and, through which, commanders at all levels can have timely access to the necessary up-to-date information and data, regardless of the originator or data location, in a cost-effective manner.
