Minister of Tourism
Minister Responsible for Seniors

Jim Bradley was appointed Minister Responsible for Seniors by Premier Dalton McGuinty in June 2005. He also serves as Minister of Tourism.

Mr. Bradley is among the most experienced and highly respected members of the Ontario legislature. He was first elected in 1977 and re-elected in seven consecutive campaigns.

Mr. Bradley has held senior positions in both government and opposition. In October 2003, he was chosen by Premier McGuinty to serve as Minister of Tourism and Recreation. He also served as Minister of the Environment from 1985 to 1990, and as interim leader of the Ontario Liberal Party from November 1991 to April 1992.

Before his election to the legislature, Mr. Bradley was a teacher with the Lincoln County Board of Education. He also served as a member of the St. Catharines City Council from 1970 to 1977.
