Seniors Online

  • Seniorsinfo.ca
In partnership with the federal government and the city of Brockville, the Ontario Seniors' Secretariat developed Seniors’ Info as the first multi-jurisdictional Seniors’ Portal in Canada.

  • Life Event Bundles
Significant changes come into everyone's life - such as birth, marriage, retirement, and even losing one's wallet! It is also true that into the life of every business there is a series of predictable events such as the registration of a new business or relocation of a business or government forms and reports associated with various stages in a business' life. We call these life events.

The Ontario government is using Life Events as a new way to organize information and services - in groupings that cross government jurisdictions and ministerial lines in order to bring everything on a subject together in one place.

  • Seniors Policies and Programs Database (SPPD)
Federal, Provincial and Territorial Ministers Responsible for Seniors launched the SPPD, a national database of policies and programs for seniors, as a lasting legacy of the International Year of Older Persons in 1999. The SPPD is an internet database containing information on health, income security, housing and other policies and programs across Canada for seniors. The SPPD is a component of the National Framework on Aging.

  • Seniors Canada On line
Seniors Canada On-line provides single-window access to Web based information and services that are relevant to seniors 55+, their families, caregivers and supporting service organizations. It offers key links to seniors-related information from Government of Canada, Provincial and Territorial Web sites.
