Senior Smart Ontario

Senior Smart Ontario contains information and statistics on seniors that will help decision-makers be responsive to seniors’ needs and enable them to make policies that help seniors live with safety, dignity and independence. The site was developed as a partnership between the Ontario Seniors’ Secretariat and the Ontario Gerontology Association (OGA).

A compendium of data on seniors, organized into three main categories: population, lifestyle, and health and well-being.

Aging Quiz

A quiz of 20 true or false questions to test your knowledge about seniors and the aging process.

Information and contacts for selected gerontology journals, and Canadian colleges and universities with gerontology programs and research centres.
 

Links to provincial, national and international organizations that are effecting or developing policies on aging.

A national database of policies and programs for seniors.

Designed as a voluntary framework, it has as its core a shared vision statement and five principles that are endorsed by seniors and governments across Canada.
