Welcome to the Pay Equity Office

Welcome to the Pay Equity Office's web environment. We are committed to putting you - our client - first by providing an easy-to-use website designed to help you quickly access information.

Our website is usually updated every 30 to 45 days - updates that are listed on the what's new webpage. By adding your e-mail address to our web update e-list, you will be notified when we upload new publications or prepare a new seminar schedule.

Education and Communication Services

The Office provides information, publications and training on all aspects of pay equity. Our local and toll-free hotlines are staffed by Customer Service Representatives who provide information about the law and its practical applications, and handle requests for publications and training.

Education Officers develop and design educational programs to assist workplace parties at any step in the pay equity process.

Review Services

Review Officers investigate objections to pay equity plans, and complaints of contravention of the Act. Preparation and implementation of pay equity plans may be monitored to ensure compliance. As needed, Review Officers will mediate between parties or may issue an order to solve disputes. To make a complaint or objection, fill out an Application for Review Services.
