Electronic Search Products

  1. Business Names Report
    2.

    This report displays current information on the public record for business names registered or renewed within the past 5 years, including information filed on amendments and cancellations.

  2. Limited Partnerships Report
    3.

    This report displays current information on the public record for limited partnerships registered or renewed within the past 5 years, including information filed for changes, dissolutions and withdrawals. Former limited partnership names will only be displayed for Declarations registered on or after April 1, 1994.

  3. Document Replica
    4.

    An electronic replica of any one specific BNLP document (e.g., new, renewal, amendment/change and cancellation/dissolution/withdrawal) filed in the last 5 years for a business name or limited partnership.

  4. BNLP Document List
    5.

    The BNLP Document List is available for sole proprietorships, general partnerships, corporation business names, limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships and partnership business names registered on or after April 1, 1994. This report sets out all documents that have been filed in relation to the business name or limited partnership registered, including the filing date for each document.

  5. Partnership Business Names List
    6.

    The Partnership Business Names List sets out all additional business names registered or renewed by the firm since July 15, 1996.

  6. Certificate of Non-Registration
    7.

    This certificate states that there is no record of the registration under the Business Names Act or a declaration under the Limited Partnerships Act in the subject name or BIN (Business Identification Number).

  7. Statement of No Match Found
    8.

    This statement indicates that there is no record of the registration under the Business Names Act or a declaration under the Limited Partnerships Act in the subject name or BIN (Business Identification Number).

Non-Electronic Search Products

  1. Expired Search
    2.

    This search covers a 15-year period of expired records. Records which have been expired for more than 15 years are stored in the Archives of Ontario. This new retention policy commences with records with a 1992 registration date.

BNLP refers to an unincorporated business name or limited partnership registered under either the Business Names Act or the Limited Partnerships Act.
