Liquidator of the estate
If you designated to be the liquidator of an estate, there are many formalities you need to carry out, particularly with the Régie des rentes du Québec.
If the deceased worked at some point during his or her life, he or she probably contributed to the Québec Pension Plan. In that case, survivors' benefits could be paid. A certain number of requirements must be met in order for benefits to be granted, such as having contributed to the Plan for a sufficient number of years.
