Summary of NLCAHR Awards Program
NLCAHR invites applications for its 2008 funding cycle. The
terms, application procedures, and deadlines vary from program to
program. Applicants are advised to pay special attention to the
description of the program or programs to which they are applying.
NLCAHR reserves the right to change the allocation of available
funds among its various programs, from year to year, depending on
the number and quality of applications.
Priority Research Themes
The current priority research themes are:
- Population health and health services challenges of Newfoundland and Labrador
- Health promotion and wellness
- Efficiency and effectiveness of the provincial health system
For all awards except the Master’s Fellowships, preference
will be given to applications with direct relevance to one or more
of these priority themes.
