The Guide is also a means by which other community service organizations, government ministries and agencies, and non-Aboriginal citizens may become knowledgeable about specific Aboriginal services and organizations.
Publication of this Guide is coordinated by the Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation in support of Aboriginal people and their communities. This publication is based on the most current data available at the time of printing.

The Guide is not meant to be a comprehensive listing of all Aboriginal organizations in
British Columbia, nor is it intended to offer links to all of the services that may be of interest
to Aboriginal people. For the most part, the organizations listed in the Guide are Aboriginal controlled and generally operate on a not-for-profit basis. Participation in the Guide is voluntary.
