Recreation Sites and TrailsMore than 1,200 recreation sites are located on Crown land around British Columbia for the camping enjoyment of residents and visitors to the province. There are three types of recreation sites: There is also an extensive network of trails for those wishing to experience British Columbia’s natural beauty. The Province has announced
funding for upgrades to a number of formerly user-maintained recreation
sites and trails. Here is a
list of
recreation sites and trails planned for upgrading in 2006/07.
