Shareholder's Letter of Expectations

A key component of the governance framework is the development of shareholder letters of expectation. This letter is designed to ensure a shared understanding between the shareholder and Crown corporation boards of directors on key governance issues, corporate mandate and core services, public policy issues, strategic priorities and performance expectations.

The letter does not create any legal or binding obligations on the part of the shareholder or the Crown corporation, but rather is intended to define a positive and co-operative working relationship.
