Change to Hearing Schedule!
Prince Albert added.  See the schedule for details.

Since July 1, 1945, The Workmen's Compensation Act and then The Workers' Compensation Act, 1979, have required the Lieutenant Governor in Council, at least once every four years, to appoint a review committee comprised of equal representation of employers and organized employees.

Saskatchewan is only one of two jurisdictions that has a legislative review of its workers’ compensation legislation.

The first Committee of Review, appointed on October 7, 1949, consisted of a Chairman and six members. There have been 11 subsequent committees of review: 1954, 1958, 1963/64, 1968, 1971/73, 1978, 1982, 1986, 1991/92, 1996 and 2001.

The Workers’ Compensation Act Committee of Review reviews and reports on all matters concerning The Workers’ Compensation Act, 1979, The Workers’ Compensation General Regulations, 1985, The Workers’ Compensation Act Exclusion Regulations, and the administration of the Act and regulations.
