Summary

The Canadian Rural Information Service (CRIS) provides the following services:

  • reference services;
  • pathfinders on various rural topics such as entrepreneurship and opportunities for rural youth, farm stress, microcredit, rural tourism, writing funding proposals, etc.;
  • customized information on specific subjects;
  • referrals to expert sources of information; and
  • news releases from the federal government relating to rural issues.

CRIS delivers these services through the Internet, telephone, fax, or mail depending on your need.
