Health Canada The artwork on the cover, an original drawing by Connor Mulvihill, a grade 6 student at Georges Vanier School in Belleville, Ontario, was selected as the winning design in a poster competition organized in conjunction with the second Canadian National Immunization Conference held in Toronto in December 1996. Mission of the Division of Immunization Recognizing the role of the provinces and territories in the delivery of immunization programs, and that the mission of Health Canada is to help the people of Canada maintain and improve their health, the mission of the Division of Immunization is to help reduce the incidence of vaccine-preventable diseases in Canada.
