Energy 2007: Ideas to Action

Energy 2007 is organized by the Canadian Industry Program for Energy Conservation (CIPEC) – a voluntary partnership between the Government of Canada and industry, including Canada's mining, manufacturing, construction and energy supply sectors. CIPEC's mandate is to promote actions that reduce industrial energy use. Supported by Natural Resources Canada and the ecoENERGY Efficiency initiative, CIPEC has been helping Canadian industry cut costs and raise profits through energy efficiency for 32 years.

Energy 2007 is taking place on November 27 and 28 at the Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa, Ontario. The conference will provide industry participants with the opportunity to network and engage in open discussions on topics including financing energy efficiency projects, emerging technologies and employee training.

At the conference, CIPEC Leadership Awards will be presented to companies that have demonstrated exceptional leadership and innovation in the pursuit of energy efficiency.
