Canadian Geodetic Network
GeoBase lets you access horizontal and vertical geodetic control information for thousands of points distributed across Canada. The information for each marker includes geographic and UTM coordinates, orthometric height, marker information description, and inspection data. The Canadian Geodetic Network includes points from the following four principal control networks
Canadian Base Network
- Description
- Review a detailed description of the Canadian Base Network. Product specifications, metadata and other supporting documentation are also available.
- Order
- Find and order Canadian Base Network control grouped by 1:250,000 mapsheet.
- View
- Navigate through Canadian Base Network control with the help of an application based on WMS standards. Create your own views by adding additional themes available through the GeoBase portal and combining them with Canadian Base Network control.
Primary Vertical Bench Marks
- Description
- Review a detailed description of the Primary Vertical Bench Marks. Product specifications, metadata and other supporting documentation are also available.
- Order
- Find and order Vertical Bench Marks control grouped by 1:50,000 mapsheet.
- View
- Navigate through Vertical Bench Marks control with the help of an application based on WMS standards. Create your own views by adding additional themes available through the GeoBase portal and combining them with Vertical Bench Marks control.
Federal 3-D Densification Network
- Description
- Review a detailed description of the Federal 3-D Densification Network. Product specifications, metadata and other supporting documentation are also available.
- Order
- Find and order Federal 3-D Densification Network control grouped by 1:250,000 mapsheet.
