Are you a client relationship-builder with a keen interest in local business opportunities, general economic indicators, and industry trends? You can apply your insight to prospecting financial opportunities, developing lending proposals and complex loan requests, and managing loan portfolios to meet the needs of various small businesses, including new economy businesses and corporate financing. Exercise your knowledge of Bank policies, procedures, and credit criteria. As BDC's representative at external functions, an engaging communication style will support your success in promoting the Bank and its services.

This is an ideal opportunity for a professional with:

  • 3-5 years commercial lending experience
  • University degree in commerce or business administration
  • Definite assets such as a Degree in technology or related field, and a thorough understanding of the dynamics of small business environments
  • Customer relationship focused
  • Effective communication skills in both official languages (required in certain locations) considered an asset
