Managing for Business Success provides practical links and references to Web sites that offer owners and managers of small and medium businesses with insights and information that can help them resolve a management challenge with "just-in-time" solution. The site will also be of interest to prospective entrepreneurs and to small business intermediaries and professionals who provide small business owners and managers with management advice.

Summary

Managing for Business Success can assist small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with sources of practical advice or information that they can use when confronted by a management challenge, or when they simply want more information about a particular issue. Apart from the quick direct links to helpful sources of information, the site includes a number of additional features. For example, users can assess their business performance through diagnostic and benchmarking tools. Also included is a comprehensive database of small business advisors and business support organizations across Canada as well as links to business magazines and organizations that offer keyword search capability. The site includes more than 270 selected links on key management functions such as finance, human resources and marketing and sales.
