Getting Funding

Are you interested in addressing alcohol, other drug, tobacco or gambling problems in your community? Do you have an idea about how to take action? If so, AADAC may be able to help you pursue your idea.

AADAC provides funding and consultation to non-profit community organizations or agencies to undertake community-driven initiatives that reflect a coordinated and collaborative approach in addressing the unique needs of their community, in the areas of substance use and/or gambling.

Your plan may contain elements of education/awareness, harm reduction, tobacco cessation and/or capacity-building. Whatever form it takes, the idea behind it would be for AADAC and communities to support youth, their families and other adults to make healthy choices for themselves when it comes to alcohol, other drugs, tobacco or gambling.
