From the beginning of January to the end of March, certain Sépaq establishments offer ice fishing either by the day or with accommodations. In March, the arrival of warmer temperatures and the considerable thickness of the ice ensure an incomparable and safe experience for ice-fishing experts and beginners.

Please note that provincial fishing licences are required in all of the establishments, except for Parc national du Saguenay. Below are the main establishments that offer this activity.

Saguenay and Grands-Jardins National Parks
Exoticism on ice at Parc national de Saguenay! Speckled trout and yellow perch make way for salt-water species like redfish, cod, and Greenland halibut... the pleasure is also in the eating when suppertime rolls around! The dramatic beauty of the Saguenay Fjord makes this a spectacular experience. Two packages, including cabin accommodations, transportation on the site and equipment are available. There is nothing to fear from the cold weather, since a heated cabin is provided for this activity. Parc national des Grands-Jardins offers this activity as part of a package with accommodations in the Beaumont and Jean-Pressé cabins. Details.
