The Market Support Division (TMM) of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (FAITC) has a group of trade promotion specialists dedicated to promoting the trade interests of cultural industries and marketing Canadian initiatives abroad. The TMM also collaborates with a network of partners to help arts and cultural companies realize their export development objectives.
The Canadian cultural trade associations provide TMM with private sector insight to develop international trade initiatives that meet the needs of the industry. It fosters links to companies through the associations, offering support to fulfill their export development mandates, to establish an international profile of their members and to serve as a catalyst for the development of a sound export marketing strategy.
