The Revenue Administration Agency administers assigned revenue and taxation programs associated with real property and consumption taxes. Headed by the provincial tax commissioner, it has three sections: Tax Program Administration, Audit and Investigation Services and Account Management.

Eligibility Criteria

All businesses, organizations and individuals wishing information on Real Property Tax, Pari-Mutuel Tax, and Consumption Taxes (i.e. Gasoline and Motive Fuel Tax, Tobacco Tax, Provincial Vehicle Tax, Tangible Personal Property Tax).

Summary

Publishes Guides and Notices under:

  • Gasoline and Motive Fuel Tax Act;
  • Tobacco Tax Act;
  • Harmonized Sales Tax, Provincial Vehicle Tax and Designated Tangible Personal Property Tax;
  • Real Property Tax Act;
  • Pari-Mutuel Tax Act.

Also, provides tax information service through public workshops and information sessions to client groups on vendor and consumer responsibilities under the above taxing regulation.
