Summary

Crown Assets Distribution Centres (CADCs) are involved in the sale of surplus assets ranging from ships and cars to furniture and clothing on behalf of federal government departments and agencies. CADCs are also responsible for the disposal of seized goods and livestock.

CADCs act as agents for the United States, British and other governments in the sale of their surplus assets located in Canada. Moreover, CADCs have working arrangements with certain European governments for disposal of Canadian military surplus located in their countries.
