SS-NB Opportunities Network (NBON)

The New Brunswick Government has implemented the NBON (New Brunswick Opportunities Network), a Web based service for advertising and distributing goods and services invitations. Access is free to vendors and electronic downloading of the invitation documents is also free. Electronic bidding is also offered on selected invitations.

Summary

This site also displays notices for building and highway construction invitations issued on behalf of the Government of New Brunswick.  

Over 90 public sector organizations in New Brunswick including Crown Corporations, municipalities, academic institutions and hospitals also use this site to advertise notices to bidding opportunities.

The NBON will also allow vendors to register with the Central Purchasing Branch and indicate the products and services they have to offer.  The system can automatically notify vendors by e-mail when invitations are posted for products they sell.
