Bill 49, The Mortgage Brokerages and Mortgage Administrators Act, received Royal Assent on May 17, 2007. The Act will come into force on proclamation. Regulations under The Mortgage Brokerages and Mortgage Administrators Act will be developed prior to the new Act being proclaimed in force and implemented. All stakeholders consulted with respect to the Bill will be consulted on the regulations and a copy of all consultation documents prepared by the SFSC will be posted on this website for input by the public.
