Traffic Safety Court

Justices of the Peace preside over Traffic Safety Court in Regina and Saskatoon on a full-time, weekly basis. Matters heard in this court are mainly traffic offences, which include speeding and other moving (and non-moving) violations. Offences relating to other provincial statutes, including liquor and wildlife violations, are also dealt with. Traffic Safety Court does not handle parking tickets. Docket courts and trials are held as follows:

In Regina,

Docket Court (first appearance, adjournments, guilty pleas): Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:00 am.
Trials (trial times set by mutual arrangement through Traffic Clerk): Tuesdays and Thursdays - 9:30 am and 1:30 pm
Mondays and Wednesdays - 1:30 pm
