The modern, multi-media Interpretive Centre is open 9 am to 5 pm, seven days a week from May to October. Check Fees & Schedule for this year's opening and closing dates.
The Interpretive Centre is staffed, and has wheel-chair accessible public washrooms. Access to the washrooms and gift shop is free; a fee is charged to view the displays and interpretive part of the Centre. (See Fees & Schedule.) The path to Bird Rock is not wheelchair accessible, but the Interpretive Centre is fully accessible.
Guided tours of the reserve and nature hikes are available-they can be arranged at the Interpretive Centre. Group tours and school programs are asked to book in advance; call the Interpretive Centre at (709) 277-1666.
