Helping residents do their part for the environment and prevent water shortages, the City is offering water saving kits for using water more efficiently in the home and now in the garden too! Available at a special reduced price for Vancouver's residents only, each kit is $12.
Indoor water saver kit
Especially suited for older homes, this kit can help retrofit your kitchen and bathroom into using 15 to 20 percent less water. For those who enjoy hot showers, this means a savings on your water heating bill - up to 10 to 15 percent less energy for heating water. Indoor kit details
Outdoor water saver kit
If you, like many others, have ever forgotten to shut-off a sprinkler or left the hose running after use, you'll appreciate the automatic timer and the trigger nozzle hose gun in this kit. From our calculations based on hose leakage, length of watering time etc, residents can save up to 21 cubic meters of water per year. This is equivalent to about 90 full bathtubs! Outdoor kit details

Each indoor water saver kit includes:
